Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna
Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB-PMJAY) was launched in Himachal Pradesh on 23rd September, 2018 for providing cashless treatment upto Rs. 5.00 Lakh per year per family for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization.
Ayushman Bharat- PMJAY is an entitlement-based scheme with entitlement decided on the basis of deprivation criteria in the SECC, 2011 database and RSBY families. This will help in improving the affordability component of Universal Health Coverage. This scheme is leading to timely treatments, improvements in health outcomes, patient satisfaction, improvement in productivity and efficiency. This scheme has subsumed Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna (RSBY). As per database, 478985 families are eligible to prepare card under Ayushman Bharat in Himachal Pradesh. Under this scheme all the members of a family are covered. The detail of SECC deprivation criteria is as under: -

Benefits of the Scheme are portable across the country and a beneficiary covered under the scheme is allowed to take cashless benefits from any public/private empanelled hospitals across the country.To check the eligibility under Ayushman Bharat, one can visit the nearest Lok Mitra Kendra or any empanelled hospital.
